Get To Know Everything About The New RapNet Trade Center

Read on to find out how the new Trade Center will affect the way you trade...

With just over 80,000 deals taking place through RapNet each month, our priority is to help you trade faster, easier and safer.

That is why we are introducing the RapNet Trade Center, a central point for buying, selling and managing all trades within the RapNet platform, without the need for using other communication and messaging channels such as email, Skype, Whatsapp and WeChat.

How is the RapNet Trade Center better?

CENTRALIZED – All the offers you make and receive are in one location so it’s easier to manage.
Are you using both the website and the mobile app? Your communication will sync between the two so any trades you start on your office computer you can keep checking and updating on your phone, when you’re out at meetings or traveling.
EFFICIENT - Manage your trades, decide on terms and close deals and issue invoices in one simple streamlined process, that avoids misunderstandings
SECURE – We want you to have a safe platform to trade within and to avoid external fraud and scammers by communicating with verified members within RapNet.

How will it change the way you trade?

Until now, after initiating a trade, you sent a contact seller request, then continued communicating by email. Or you moved over to other messaging apps such as WhatsApp or Skype.

RapNet Trade Center cuts out all the emails, external communication and confusion and streamlines all the offers, negotiation, payment and terms within one secure and efficient place.

When is this happening?

Trade Center will be launched on October 15^th.

How will it work for BUYERS?

Buyers can continue to search and find diamonds in the usual way – search, find and click ‘contact seller’.
The contact seller form has been updated to include additional information such as your offer and transaction type (sale or memo).

From this point on, you will be taken to the Trade Center -> Buying to track, negotiate and complete the deal.

The seller can respond by either:

Agreeing to match your price
Negotiating by updating their original price
Declining your offer

You can both keep updating your prices until a matched price has been agreed upon. Always remember to check the terms and save any changes you make.

Once you’re done negotiating and have agreed on terms, both parties must click ‘Agree and Sign’ and you will receive a secure invoice in the Trade Center.

We’ve also included a Messages tab to view any chat conversations, send attachments and additional messages plus there’s an Activity Log tab to view the chronological history of activities for this trade.

How will it work for SELLERS?

Sellers receive offers and track, negotiate and complete deals as well as send invoices within the Trade Center.

Instead of receiving an email, you will now receive a notification on RapNet when a buyer expresses interest or makes an offer on your diamond. Click on the notification and you will be taken to the Trade Center -> Selling section and click on the offer to view the diamond being requested, the buyer information and price offer.

Then choose your response:

Accept by clicking ‘match price’.
Negotiate by entering a price/ct, Rap % or total $ amount and clicking ‘update price’
Decline the offer

You can both keep updating your prices until a matched price has been agreed upon.

Make sure to check the terms and save any changes.

Remember, you can use the chat function to recall all conversations via the Messages tab, as well as send attachments and additional messages. Plus we’ve included an Activity Log tab to view the chronological history of activities for this trade.

Once you’re done negotiating and have agreed on terms, both parties must click ‘Agree and Sign’.

Securely send your invoice through the Trade Centre and once the deal is complete, mark it as ‘complete’.
